Have Contact Dermatitis On Eyebrows And Near Lids And To The Side Of Eyes?

I have been told by My Dr that something I have been in contact with has produced this horrible rash. I have wracked my brains as to what I have been in contact with! Dr has given me Canesten Hydrocortisone which just made it irritate, then Daktacort ointment which didn’t work, still irritates like hell. I am using Oilatum Emollient cream and wash He did say it could be coming from within meaning a virus in my body. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this the itching is driving me mad and I look like i’ve been in a fight, its also at the sides of my nose at the very top. Any ideas please.

Buy lamasil from your pharmasist. (is for athemetes foot but it’s the same skin condition but not on your feet)
I had it on my neck a couple of months ago & it drove me crazy!
It’s very contagious so use different towels, try not to touch it etc. You could have caught it from anyone who had it, who touched something that you then touched.
Use the lamasil for a couple of weeks & it will go away eventually.

Have you been using a new eye cream at all? I used to have eczema however i stopped using products on my face for a month and it cleared. Try to give your skin a rest. Also check that the products you use dont contain lanolin as this is a major cause of facial eczema. Both e45 and sudocream contain this. Use diprobase (u can get this from your doctor) this is an emollient with nothing except moisture in it, this will start to sooth your skin and take away the dryness which makes it look much worse. I hope you get it sorted as it is a horrible skin condition. Good luck

Are you sure its dermatitis and not a heliotrope rash of the eyelids? Do you also have red/whitish lesions on the knuckles of your hands? I think you should take a picture of your rash and go see a dermatologist.

I had that too, only mine was on my eyebrow and my wrists. My doctor gave me a shot of some kind(not quite sure) and a cream called Hydrocortosone Vale.It went away within a week or so.
