What can I do about eczema scars?
Posted by: Alan in eczema treatment, tags: About, Eczema, scars
I’ve had eczema since I was a kid (probably since I was born). I’m getting better but I have this horrible scars on my flexure areas (notably behind the knees and elbows). I’ve tried flax seed, fish oil, tea-tree oil, moisturizing, and a lot of Chinese herbal medicines. Help is appreciated!
I have tried primrose oil as well.

I have atopic dermatitis, the clinical term for eczema, and I have had it for over 40 years. You have to let the scars fade.Because of skin sensitivity, there are few products that help.www.SkinStore.com has two products that I use, which are not irritating to my skin, but they do work;it just takes time. They are Skinceuticals Phyto+ Botanical Gel for hyperpigmentation;it costs about $65 for a two-three month supply. The other product is quite expensive but it works;Kinerase cream or lotion costs $107 for a two months supply. You should also be using a sunblock containing avobenzene or zinc oxide. The other option is to ask the dermatologist about what to do.
