Yes. You must have eczema i have it and its because of the chemicals in it. Try finding some organic soap and see if that helps.

JOY Lemon Scent causes a real bad reaction to some people. Try using Palmolive Dish Soap. It will not give you a rash.

Yes, i have an allergic reaction to dish soaps, some more than others. for me, i find that Dawn is the least irritating. but when i wash dishes, or use any type of cleaners, i wear vinyl gloves (not latex, because i’m allergic to that too).
I know what you mean about taking for ever to go away. i get little VERY SORE water type blisters on my palms and fingers.
try some over the counter cortisone cream, or try even a light powdering of plain corn starch on your hands (corn starch was the thing to use for rashes before all the “modern” ointments came along, but mainly wear vinyl gloves from now on…
i sympathize with you..

My granddaughter she has to use ivory dish soap.

My mom is allergic to the antibacterial soap. Most soaps contain this now and the only thing she can use is Dawn. It is for sensitive skin, it is in a small bottle and usually is white in color. It has no perfumes, dyes, or antibacterial. She usually gets it at Wal mart.
