Any Medical/doc Experts Know Anything About Hand Foot And Mouth?

The doctor says my son has a virus and I have contact dermatitis yet my very tiny blisters are on my hands and feet only while my son had some on his hands and feet and few on his leg and loads on his bottom. Could it be hand foot and mouth virus? How long before I can go back to work in a kitchen if it is?
Could an adult catch it?

i have had hand foot and mouth before i caught it off my young son and it is a viral infection i think ( sorry was some time ago) it is however very infectious (or so my doc told me), however we didnt get spots any where else . so it could just be a viral rash which is common . not the most help i know but hope it helps a little bit!

i remember my kids having this when they were little. in their baby books i wrote that they were given antibiotics but nothing else. the symptoms sound the same, hope this helps.
