How Can I Fix This Horrible Issue?

My dermatologist told me it was atopic eczema and prescribed me this awful steroid ointment that doesn’t work at all and just feels like acid on my skin.
So I’ve tried everything under the sun to try to heal this,
Did I mention I’ve been struggling with this skin condition since March of this year?
It started after contact with this harsh clay in a pottery class I had.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE help.

maybe try this ointment. it is betamethasone i think. that’s not a brand but the thing in the ointment.
