8 Y/o Has Rash Looks Orange Under Skin Pediatric People?

grandsson has a rash on his upper torso. was getting better than worse. Md orderd lab work because of the orange tint under his skin. I thought is was a contact dermatitis as he was using his dads soap and it was too strong for him but md not sure becasue of the orange tint to his skin.

Does he eat a lot of carrots or squash or sweet potato’s?
The labs are a good idea to check his liver and kidneys.
I’d soak in an oatmeal bath
push fluids (water/gatoraide)
And take an oral benadryl
Keep a diary of foods, soaps, stress and the weather -
any other odd symptom (fever, malaise?)
