Why not try baking soda? It's gentle and you could just use it dry and it'll make sort of a paste when it gets wet. It's great for cleaning and deodorizing.
I would think bathing or showering three times a day, especially if you use hot water, would dry your skin worse than the Dove.
Also, my granddaughter has eczema and hers breaks out in specific places. On the backs of her knees and at the base of her neck. Is yours like that? Maybe you could just skip the soap in those places.
There are certain parts of your body that really need to be washed thoroughly with soap. Otherwise your skin could begin to break down.

my daughter had some issues with her skin due to giving birth and toxemia of prenancy which became extremely bad beyond belief i know this sounds strange but what you might want to try is epsom salt bath water soaks id start with cool water add warmer water that you can stand .. 3 times a day see epsom salt is not expensive and is a natural aid to your skin so if it burns the water is too hot..the next one to try is adding a pan of tea regular tea like your going to make a gallon of tea and pour that in your bath..surprising they work better than you think and they are cheap and you can use soaps i would not use dove or ivory soap my daughter when she was little had major iritation with them...

use Cetaphil and Aveeno after you shower with soap. if you do wash with soap, do it ever 2 or 3 days

It's okay but I'd recommend using soap for the sake of others cause you could get pretty smelly xD. I'd suggest using a very gentle soap like baby wash or something along with a good moisturizer like vitamin E oil or emu oil to keep dry skin under control.

you will get some build up and oils to stay on there....
if you have a skin condition, best to stay away from scented Dove soaps, and I was told you don't need to shower 3 times a day, it dries out your skin
just use the recommended lotion like aveeno

well i only shower once a day so i think that may be your problem!
shower in the morning! sleep on your smelly bed and get all the grease back into your skin then shower in the morning before you head out!
i rarely shower twice a day unless i get a haircut or have been working out or doing backbreaking manual labour and am dripping with sweat!
