Itching means the tat is healing.  Hang in there.

A) you had an allergic reaction to the A&amp;D.
B) you used too much A&amp;D and clogged your pores. 
I doubt you have an infection. I suggest you use a very very thin coat of unscented lotion (I use Curel) twice a day. No more then that! Remember, a tattoo needs air to heal. Some people even do &quot;dry healing&quot; in which they don&#039;t use any lotion at all. That&#039;s how important air is. Good luck to you! I&#039;m sure it&#039;ll pass.</description>
