    Cheapest and easiest treatment is mouthwash. It dries up the oils in the rash, it will burn, but it works fast. Other than that you can use prednisone, which is a steroid.

    A steroid, such as hydrocortisone. You could apply it to the skin itself (as a cream), or give it as a tablet. Steroids reduce inflammation.

    You could also give an anti-histamine. Histamine causes inflammation. These are similar drugs given to people with allergies like hayfever.
