Can you develop an allergy to fleas, like their bites or anything, if you’ve never been allergic to the before?

I’ve been suffering from contact dermatitis for a few weeks now and the only thing I can think of that’s new in my diet, environment, etc. is a current flea problem. I also sprayed my furniture with Hartz upholstery spray for fleas and that’s about when it started.

Idk. but i got this stinging feeling and it hurt really bad and i looked and saw a little flea was causing it. so i flicked him off. I never knew such a small bugs bite could hurt so bad. i felt so bad for dogs.
