I have a 14 month old who has terrible eczema on his legs and we haven’t been able to find the “magic solution” to help clear this up. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Let me know whats worked for you.

I don’t know if my son has eczema, but he has a really, really dry scaly spot under his chin most of the time. I have been slathering it, along with his cheeks, with Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Moisture Cream every night after his bath and right before bed and it is tremendously better.

leave it alone if it doesn’t itch he will grow out of it. If it itches talk to his doc there are meds that will work but only with a Rx.
Never put anything on your baby that you have not talked about with his doc.

Hi there!
My daughter gets eczema on her chin and also on her arms in a few spots. I always use a products made by Gentle Naturals called Baby Eczema Cream. It comes in a aqua blue 4 oz tube. You can find it in Babies r Us or Buy Buy Baby. I am telling you this cream works wonders!
It is over the counter and was recommended by the pediatrcian.

My son had it when he was about a month old and i tried everything for eczema on it none of it worked just made it worse so FINALLY i tried A&D 3 in 1 ointment and that worked great. It’s also good for diaper rashes & scapes , cuts and burns so i always have it and keep it in the diaper bag. Only cost about 3 bucks at Kmart..Good luck . A&D made my son’s completely go away and it never came back which is rare even my dr said that because eczema usually does. Hope that helps

I like Eucerin cream. It is very thick, but works great. It is on the expensive side, so I buy the store brand and it works just as good (Wal-Mart, Rite-Aid). It comes in a tub and you scoop it out. I put it on my kids right after a bath.
For eczema on the face, I use Aquafor. Any drool cannot penetrate through. Clears up any rash within an hour.

my son has it to!! I have tried everything!! From the 1% hydrocortison that the Dr. perscribed still didnt work!! The only thaing that has worked for me is a seaweed spray from Source Vital. It is very hydrating and soothing, it doesnt have a very good smell but it doesnt stink!! I put that on his head everyday and it works great!!! I would suggest you looking into this product. It is called Aromatic Algae and is a life saver!!
