I was told I had Rhus Derm, but everything I’ve read says it’s a contact dermatitis. I have not come in direct contact with poison ivy. Was I misdiagnosed?

Some people myself included can get poison ivy from it being burned. I eventually grew out of it but i used to get it all the time.

  2. Wildmanjawz says:

If poison Ivy is disturbed, and you are within a few feet of it (even through wind) super small particulates of the toxin can cause a reaction with your skin if you are extremely sensitive to poison ivy. Hope this helps.
