I have a 3 year old Daughter who has Eczema, we go to the Dr. and he gives us all of these Sterio cremes and ointments and liquid med. I want to use a organic or all nature product that will cure it or aleast relief the symptoms. I know what foods she is alergic too. So I don’t give her those products or foods. The weather plays a big part too! So she don’t play in direct sun light and we half to be careful when she goes to the park or just our friends and family house. I am just looking for a health type of relief for her. If I keep using sterios on her skin, it will damage her skin and may give her cancer when she is older. Please help I will gladdly take web site info, books, product names etc. Thank You Very Much!

I’ve had eczema my whole life – and my daughter does too. I agree about trying to avoid medicines – and go natural whenever possible.

I’ve found that for me the best thing is natural soaps, staying out of water as much as possible (and making sure I’m completely dry – because I tend to get eczema if I wash my hands a lot.) Bathe her in oatmeal baths. (Aveeno makes a good one.)

Try cornstarch instead of scented powders, fragrance-free laundry detergents.

You’re a good mom – and the good news is, it will probably get better as she gets older.

aloe vera is supposed to be a good natural remedy for skin irritations such as burns, i am sure that it would at least be some relief for your daughter. it reduces inflamation and soothes soreness, try it out, if it works, you can purchace an aloe vera plant in almost any garden centre, they are a plant which in the wild grow in semi arid areas of africa, australia, to the best of my knowledge,
hope this was a help to you

since birth my daughter has has skin problems.. her doctor told us which products to avoid, but not which to try, I have found BABY AVEENO< bathsoap, use for hair too. aveeno buttcream, and even the $9.00 bottle of aveeno sunblock. avoid all other soaps. wipe butt with only clear water. hypoallergenic laundry soap too.. it might be more expensive but my babys skin is worth it.. she is 2 now. and its not so bad when i use these products only.. you already avoid know allergans.. why dont you look for a homeopathic doctor in your area?? your child skin is worth that bill too.. there may be more going on… there could also be allergens in your home that make symptoms worse and you dont even realize it.. i have seen websites that talk about allergen free homes.. things like removing carpet, even changing the house insulation, again, the kid is worth it… good luck…

My son has had the same problem ever since he was born. His doctor gives us the same thing, lots of creams and prescriptions that did not seem to do any good. Aveeno is a great product that if you stay consistent with it you see improvements. There was a prescription that the doctor gave me for my son but it worked for a day or two and then it all came back.

Something I have not thought of is maybe trying to call a dermatologist and see what their suggestion is after telling him or her what you have tried.

Good Luck and if you find something that works let me know :)

You can find natural remedies anywhere. Try http://www.skinoriginal.com/eczema/15-treateczema.htm for some of them. They really help and don’t have side effects and nor irritating to the skin.

There is a Champori eczema cream that is natural (herbal) and it works very well without causing allergies.
