Hair conditioner for a young child with eczema?

My daughter is 3 1/2 years old and she has mild eczema and very sensitive skin! We need to use hair conditioner on her regularly because her hair is very VERY fine. The problem we have is that whenever I use regular conditioner her skin gets red wherever the conditioner touches her skin. Do any of you know of an inexpensive solution to this? I have thought about going to some of my local organic stores but I know anything they will have will be very expensive… I am hoping to find something that is all natural. Any suggestions? Thank you all in advance!

our dermatologist recommended selsun blue and we’ve used that on our 1 yr old since he was born. It has a conditioner in it.

mild baby shampoo should be ok. Also a bottle of Mineral water is good to spray on… (Aveeno or La Roche Posay) are the best for eczema. You can spray body with the mineral water also…

since her skin is that sensitive I would take her to the doctor so they can test to see which conditioner is safe because turning red on top of ger eczema could cause a allergic reaction. I had eczema like that when I was young and my parents had to use selsine blue (not sure I spelled that right)

my daughter had very sensitive skin. I used the Aveeno line of baby products. There is also an organic line called California Baby, but it is more expensive. They sell both at Target or drugstore.com
Good luck!

I would opt for something that contains tea tree oil, as it will clear up eczema and is very good for your hair.
