Question by TravelingGal: Does eczema leave a discolored white scar?
I had a rash that I believe was eczema. Reason, I’ve had mild cases of it for years, but this year, I got it on my arm and after it went away, it left a pinkish white colored scar. I barely scratched it, but for some reason, the area looks white.

I have suffered from eczema since i was 5. I get these pinkish white scars too. They do fade away but they are usually more noticable when i am tanned and often when they fade away the area is white and the rest of my arm is tanned. If you have a tan this could be the reason the area looks white.
If you are really worried i would advise visiting your doctor to make an appointment with a dermatoligist. I had one a few years back and it was brilliant.
