Eczema is NOT contagious it is an autoimmune reaction within one’s own body. So your itching is your own problem not from him. Get it checked out. It can be your soap, any bubble bath, laundry detergent, tampons, pads, too dry of skin. on and on. Try baby products to see if they help.

Are you sure he has eczema? It sounds more like untreated jock itch or a yeast infection (men get them too). A fungal infection, which both of these are is certainly contagious.
edit: Get some over the counter Monistat cream that both of you should use. If that doesn’t work, I would suggest both of you go to the doctor or you will keep reinfecting each other.

Could be ring worm.
MMMmmm. Go to your doctor and ask him/her what the problem is. You cannot in any way catch eczema, though you can get it from your lifestyle (soaps, foods, environment) that you share with your hubby (and could be the cause of his).

Yikes! It does sound painful.
I was going to say I don’t think I have heard of eczema being contaigous, yet it probably can be passed to the kids.
You want to pay close attention to this video – pay more attention than I did, because I don’t have to suffer with the problem. Also if he can get a UV light, and while wearing special glasses, he can expose the area to UV rays, and that helps some people.
Here is a demo video to watch for the eczema cure as seen in Japan

You can try to get free alkaline water – place a wanted add on http://craigslist.com Place a add to ask for 8.5 PH drinking water, and hope that the person can also make 2.5 PH water. Drinking the alkaline water will help, even if you can not spray the 2.5 PH water on your skin and hair.
I have been helping a friend get rid of his psoriasis’ on his skin, it covers about 2 square feet of his arms and hands.
He has been spraying on 2.5 PH water for about a month now, and it is working. He is also drinking 9.5 PH water. His wife has MS, and is also drinking the 9.5 PH alkaline water, and is doing much better.
Good Luck!
