Can You Still Be In The Military With Atopic Dermatitis Or Eczema?

Depends on the severity, and whether or not you need medication for it. In most cases, no, its a PDQ, though. Can’t have a flare up in the middle of the field with nothing available to treat it with.

one would think no because should you have a break out and are deployed in an area where there is a possibility of chemical agents around you are the most likely affect you faster, it is like zits you can be rejected from the military because you will not be able to get a proper seal on you mask so i think it is the same principal

Yes you can. My mom has eczema and and she was in the army. of course that was 25 years ago. I would think it might depend on the severity of it. I do know a girl that has it but not that bad and she is in the army but couldn’t get the small pox vaccination before she deployed.
