What is the difference between excema and eczema?

My doctor says i have it, but i noticed that they’re spelled differently. Are they actually different? because they sound pretty similar. (skin diseases)

lovinmylife, it has nothing to do with water. It is most commonly caused by allergies. And the two spellings are just two different spelling for the same thing. Here’s some info on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eczema

it is the same thing. the spelling are different because someone spelled it differently. The correct spelling is eczema.

Allergies to food include shellfish, garlic, and others. Stop eating things like cheese, then milk products, then anything brewed (beer, yogurt, breads made with yeast). When it goes away, then you have some idea of what you should stop eating.
