From what I can remember, dreft works the best.  it is in a pink box, kinda hard to miss.  It is gentle enough that they (family, and I think the Dr.) recommend it for infants clothes when they are born to avoid any harsh detergent chemicals.  That should work for you.  That is the mildest thing I know, and it smells great!</description>
