I am 14 (turned that like 2 weeks ago) and my skin is really oily. I’m a guy. I don’t like oily skin and I take a shower every morning. When I went to brush my teeth tonight, I washed my face with soap (going to start doing this it might help make my skin not oily) and my hair is covering my forehead so i lifted it up and guess what I saw. Millions of little holes on my forehead and above my eyebrows. Grosss I don’t know if it’s supposed to be like this but WHATS WRONG WITH MY SKIN? I have acne there do but I don’t pop them or anything. Below my forehead is super oily and has like little bumps on it and shiny.
I have asthma and atopic eczema as well and is allergic to dust. I use a soap intolerant soap.

What’s the little holes?
How can I make my skin less oily?
Thanks everyone so much for answerng the holes are gross but now that I realize its just pores and its from puberty i feel much better thanks. i might get some acne med stuff like my bro whos 16 and uses it too.
Oh yeah and is there any other way to make it less oily ive heard stuff like holding ice or something works. And also hot showers with the steam or something like that

What are the chances of me having allergy shiners? And what are remedies for it? Are there any home remedies?

I’ve been through eczema since I was a newborn. Furthermore, for a couple of years during my childhood, I’ve also suffered with asthma. My asthma stopped when I reached about 10/11 years of age. Unfortunately, I still have eczema. Ever since I was a child, I’m big on eye itching. I itch with hard pressure until my eye bags turn wrinkly, red and scaly. I also usually get red eyes (no idea if it’s from lack of sleep or pollution because whenever I step out of my house and head off to university, which is located in the city, my eyes goes pinkish, tired looking and dry). I have dark circles too. Not too sure about puffy eyes. I started noticing those few years ago :( Sometimes when I sleep enough, they won’t go away. So I thought maybe it could be related to an allergy towards something…

I don’t know if its relevant but I have atopic eczema. It flares up all over my body and my eyes only (sometimes on the eyes). I’ve been prescribed with hydrocortisone acetate cream for my eyes last year. Could steroids give me dark circles? I’ve only used it for a month.

I have it on the joint of my arms, since I was a kid though. It’s only 2 small patches of dry skin. Are there any creams anyone can reccomend or certain foods to eat which may help? Everytime I scratch it it go’s red and then I regret scratching. Probably like most eczema sufferers..I think it’s atopic eczema. I probably have it easy compared to most people. By simply stopping scratching when it feels itchy will that make it go away ?

I have a 12 month old son who had a flesh colored, pimple look-a-like (but no puss or excessively raised) growth on his cheek, which started to appear about 10 days ago. He had it for a couple of days and one day it turned red and had seemed to have grown. I scheduled to have him checked out that day and the doctor looked at him for litterally 3 minutes and claimed the lesion to be eczema (eventhough he never once scratched that spot or seemed to appear to be itchy there). She gave him some atopic dermatitis creme and said it should dissapear in 4 days,2 days later (today) the skin and the lesion just seem to have gotten more agetated and the redness seems to have spread. I think the creme is too harsh for his skin and it doesn’t seem to help. I am going to bring him to the doctor again today, but I was wondering if anyone had any clue or any info on what this could be. The lesion right now is pretty flat and red, but if you look closely the center is more yellow than red…

I’m atopic, so I’m particularly prone to colds, rhinitis, eczema, asthma etc. I usually get a cold every six weeks or so and they tend to last about 10 days, often longer that that. But sometimes I find that just as I appear to be recovering from one cold, I come down with another one; so whilst I am in the snotty-nosed part (sorry to be so graphic!!), I’ll get a sore throat, blocked nose, headache, shivers etc, which I usually associate with the start of a new cold.

Basically my question is to anyone who is medically trained: is it biologically possible to get two colds at the same time? And if it isn’t, what is it that’s happening to me? (Is it the same cold re-emerging or just having a final crack at me?) And if either (or neither) of those guesses is correct, is what is happening to me normal or very odd indeed?!

Thanks in advance!

PS No need to tell me to take more Vit C etc – it’s irrelevant to my situation and won’t make any difference. Thanks!
