The Gluten Free Food and Allergy Shows are Australia’s premier events focusing on allergies, foods, lifestyle and information. The events showcase the best products and services available both locally and internationally. Australia has become overwhelmed with an allergy ‘epidemic’. Around 40% (8 million) Australians live with allergic conditions such as food allergies, eczema, hay fever, asthma, insect or drug allergies. This is in addition to the prevalence of coeliac disease and food intolerances in Australia. The show also has the support of terrific associations such as Coeliac Society, Dietitians Association of Australia, Eczema Association of Australasia and Food Standards Australia. The event will attract thousands of people over a two day period. During the event consumers will be able to gain valuable information, attend free seminars with expert speakers, try and buy Gluten Free and Allergy Friendly products. For many Australians affected by allergies, asthma and food intolerances, finding the right source of information to improve their quality of life is not easy. This event will bring together up to 100 exhibitors showcasing everything from Gluten-Free Cakes, Allergy Remedies to Allergy Friendly Products and face to face contact with various Allergy associations. Question by Maria: Does/Did your infant have a milk allergy? How and when did it start?
My baby is 9 weeks old. This week, she had diarrhea with blood in it, vomiting, and what looked like eczema. The doctor thinks it was just a GI infection. She is on Nutramigen right now and will switch back to her regular formula in a day or two to test if it was the infection or if it was a milk allergy. I’m just curious if this would be a typical onset of a milk allergy or not.

This dog has Contact Dermatitis from grass allergy. It is painful and itchy. Other body parts can be affected, ears, tummy, any part that comes into contact with the grass, or whatever allergen is causing it. If this is not treated the dog will chew at it till it bleeds leaving it open to infection. I am not a vet, I followed the treatment plan given to me by my vet. Some immediate relief can be given to the dog by bathing in Aloveen Oatmeal Shampoo, towel drying and applying Aloveen Oatmeal Intensive Conditioner, and massaging extra conditioner onto the affected parts. Don’t let the dog have any contact with grass for at least a week after this bath, if it gets out and gets exposure, no matter how brief, wash the dogs paws in the same products immediately. The next video will show the rash 3 days after exposure was elimated. DISCLAIMER: Please contact your vet for advice on what products to use on your dog. I am not endorsing or advocating the use of the products I have named. This is what I used and it worked but I’m sure there are many other products that work. The main thing is not to use anything strong that may cause further irritation.
