Question by KK: Eczema????? Rash on arms?
My 7 month old does have exzema the doctor said. He has extremely sensitive skin and he gets little rashes on him all the time that go away but nothing to severe. The eczema isnt bad, he used to jus thave red cheeks. A few days ago he has a few rashy spots on his arms then 2 days ago his arms broke out in a rash. Tiny red bumps all over his arms… He had a little bit on his legs but nothing liek his arms. Don’t think it is heat rash because it would be in diaper area or belly. Any ideas? Is it jus this eczema breakign out because its warm out now? Help! Also sometimes he gets little red spots like a hive? The yappear and go away. The day of the rash he had a few spots on his akles. Now they are gone. The arms still have the rash but not as bad.
Also i have not used any new skin care products or detergent.

Okay, this is simple. There is pretty much nothing i could find that got rid of my arms eczema. My doctor prescribed ‘elidel’ which got rid of the redness. :)

There is a cream called Aveeno Baby for Baby Eczema, it helps my son. I put it on twice a day. If you can’t find it at your local store, you should be able to order it online. Hope it helps your baby girl.

I know that it’s a Doctor’s Lotion, but I use Ammonium Lactate. I absolutely love it and my body is smooth and not red anymore. So if you want to ask your doctor about this kick butt stuff, please do! It works!

Question by Dree D: I have eczema on my thighs, arms and a tiny bit on my face. How can i get rid of it?

Best answer:

Answer by Jezebel James
Unfortunately, eczema is really hard to get rid of. I have had it all my life, and when I use steroid cream on one part of my body that has it, it comes back in different spots. The best thing I have used is Flax Seed Oil.. You can find it in the health food section of your grocery store in a bottle, usually refrigerated. The oil is kind of gross, so if you don’t want to take that, they also sell pills pretty much everywhere that you can take. Just make sure the bottle is dark, because the light will deactivate some of the ingredients. Good luck! Oh, and its also really good for the rest of your skin, plus has omega 3 & omega 6.. so its all around very good for you!

You can try some 1% Hydrocortizone cream. This is what my pedi recommended for a dry, red spot on my daughter’s chest and it went away within 3 days.

Good luck!
