Question by Perri M: What’s the best remedy for eczema?
I was hoping to grow out of it by now, but I’m eighteen and its still there! What are the best things for it? My eczema is a reaction to heat, so diets don’t particularly work. Thanks!
Note: I do get creams from my dermatologist but it only helps a little.

Question by Mommy to 2 beautiful boys!: Diaper rash, yeast infection and eczema, what cream or lotion is best for the eczema?
my hubby too the baby to the doctor and is going to pick up the prescription but i want to know for myself if aveeno baby or eucerin can be used as an everyday lotion to cure the eczema part?

Answer by Betsy
Do not skimp on the lotion. WHen our son was dx with moderate eczema we at first tried generics…the allergist suggested we stop that. We now use Lubriderm but Eucerin works great too!! Just make sure it has no dyes or perfumes as this is highly likely to aggravate the already sensitive skin. We also switched bath soaps to Dove sensitive-the green bar and laundry soap to All Free and Clear.

Question by Max: What’s the best way to get rid of Eczema?
I have persistent eczema. I know it never truly goes away but i wanna get rid of it. I’ve used tea tree oil and different soaps. I’ve mad diet changes as well BUT all to little effect. Can anyone recommend a method from PERSONAL experience that has worked for them. I can use Google.com so I’d prefer an actual first-hand account. Thanks in advance!

I have a friend that used to get really bad eczema, it has gotten much better over the last few years, she would take baths on oatmeal, and she would add a little tea tree oil into her moisturizer. She used neutrogena moisturizers and it cleared up within 5 months or so.
