Question by ashley y: Is bare minerals better for people with eczema than typical makeup?
Eczema is pretty much really really dry skin that is sometimes flakey or in a rash form

If you have eczema on your face I recommend clearing it up before you even consider putting make-up over it (I’m a fellow eczema sufferer, have been for years). After that, I imagine bare minerals would indeed be gentler on your skin if it is sensitive (I say this because I have eczema but my skin isn’t particularly sensitive- a very weird paradox I’ve never understood).

What do you think? Answer below!

Question by immortal_god: I have eczema of the scalp and was wondering if I should cut my hair short to treat it better?
My hair is currently 5-6 cm long all around and I have recently been diagnosed with eczema of the scalp, after a few days of using betnovate scalp application I have noticed an increased amount of hair loss as I am washing my hair more because the application makes my hair very greasy. Would cutting my hair short help it grow back or just leave me with more prominant bald patches?
Help!!!

Cut all the hair. This will help fresh oxygen, water, and supplement creams & gels to get to ur scalp and hair canal. U can then apply an hair fertilizer if are in a hurry. Your hair will grow back as fast as possible. Believe me coz i’m talking from experience.

She’s 2 yrs old and I sue Eucerin cream and over the counter hydro cortisone for her spots of eczema. Her legs look dry, splotchy and dirty all the time, even after a long bath with lots of scrubbing followed by creams. Her legs are much worse in the summer, because she wears shorts and the skin is exposed to plants that sometimes worsen the eczema. Any ideas of what may help?
use Eucerin cream- sorry

I have this red dry eczema on my face that just stays there and flares up from time to time. I moisturize daily with coconut oil and only have short warm showers. I also take flaxseed oil daily and take vitamin supplements. I have no idea why it won’t clear up! It’s so annoying! Because I have to wear foundation to cover it which makes it worse then I have to use MORE foundation etc etc…i don’t know what to do
