Question by jerzeygurl88: What kind of make up can I use to cover black acne scars?
I am a nineteen year old black female and I’ve have bad acne for years. I been trying different types of foundations but I can’t find any that will cover my dark scars and match my complexion. I want to go somewhere where they will match the cover up and foundation to my skin or find one that I can match easily. I tried MAC and it made me break out even more. PLEASE HELP ME! I know I am beautiful I just want the make up to look natural and provide great coverage at the same time. Please give me feasible suggestions. I am on a tight budget but if it is a miracle product I will pay for the benefit. Thank you in advance for your help. Also what suggestions do you have on the best acne fighting products and eczema treatments that don’t have to pe prescribed by a doctor.

Question by tamika10jb: Dealing with cradle cap in black infant?
How do I treat my newborn cradle cap issue. Not to be mean but he is African American and his scalp is very dry and he has lost hair as well. He has eczema as well.
I just mentioned that he is African American due to the fact his scalp is very dry and needs moisturized.

If you put baby oil on his scalp and lightly scratch and let it soak a few minutes before you wash it then it will help get some of the flakes out of it.

My friend uses Arbonne sea salt scrub, followed by the Arbonne intelligence lotion. The scrub exfoliates and conditions skin with moisture rich oils, NOT Mineral oil, the lotion has no animal products, or mineral oil.
Animal products/ by products (like lanolin) can worsen eczema.
Mineral oil (baby oil is just mineral oil with fragrance) and lotions with mineral oil, blocks the skin from absorbing anything. Use products with avocado, apricot, safflower oils that actually absorb into the skin and condition it.
Exfoliation is needed to remove dead skin and allow new healthy skin to grow.
