I have been dealing with eczema for as long as I can remember. I have tried going to a dermatologist in the past but none of those topical creams worked and instead left my skin feeling weird so I stopped taking them. I really would like to go into modeling but these scars all over really discourage me. Does anyone know of a solution? Thank you!

Okay, so on Tuesday night, I was at a friend’s house and I noticed that my forehead felt kind of bumpy. So I look and I see little bumps on my forehead, sort of like hives. They weren’t red or anything; just the same color of my skin. This is normal, because I’m allergic to pets or furry things, so I get hives all the time. I took some Zyrtec when I got home, and I went to bed.
So the next morning, I woke up and the bumps were now ALL OVER MY FACE. My eyes and my lips excluded, my face and my left ear were covered in these bumps. The ones on my lower cheek and jaw bones were a reddish color, but the rest looked like raised skin.
I went to the doctor later that day, and they concluded that I had contact dermatitis. They prescribed a steroid cream that would heal my rash in 6-7 days. I put it on all the infected places twice yesterday.
However, when I woke up this morning, I found that it spread to my right ear, most of my neck, and some of my chest. As the day went on, I saw that I also had a few bumps around my elbow creases and two or three on my hands.
Now, I have concluded that there is no way that this is contact dermatitis. Contact dermatitis means coming in contact with something, but I didn’t rub my face all over a eucalyptus leaf or something, so I have no idea how it could be contact-related. Plus, if it spread, clearly it’s not a contact-related rash.
I have a few pictures that I took that you can see at the following link.
Two are of my left cheek, and the third is of my forehead.

I really don’t expect to get any results whatsoever, but I figured this was worth a shot.
Any and all help and answers are greatly appreciated!

I was wondering if I can get Contact Dermatitis from my pet rat? I have have this weird rash, and googled reactions and found pictures of something called Contact Dermatitis. And I was wondering if I can get that from a reaction to my rat. I also just got my rat not that long ago.

My my 7 year old female Bichon’s (Claudette’s) ears had been bothering her a little so we brought her to the vet and she had ear infections in both ears. We were given medication for her ears to help them and she’s been given the drops since last Wednesday and we’ll stop on Friday. Well, ever since about last Friday she’s not acting herself. She has stopped begging for food which she used to do. It seems like she’s having a hard time hearing. Today I went in the driveway, and usually she’s at the door and she wasn’t. She was laying on my parents bed on the other side of the house, looking at me like “when did you get here?!” I’m worried that she’s losing her hearing. Could the ear drops be doing this? I figured with her begging for food she’d be able to smell what we’re eating, too. We’ve been giving her 250 mg of Cephalexin two times a day, a generous amount of Tri-Otic ear drops into each ear twice a day, and we’ve been washing her every day with Etiderm. (She also has dermatitis at the moment.) She is, like I said, 7 years old and weighs roughly 25 pounds. She IS going to the vet July 11th for a checkup, but if she gets worse the vet WILL be contacted. We love her and we don’t mess around if she’s not healthy.

I have developed a skin rash on my legs – below the knee – the doctor called it “contact dermatitis”. I am on day 3 of prednisone (a 5-day prescription) and no notable difference. I am using benadryl cream on it as well. Does anyone know of any products that could speed the healing process or take some color out of it. It itches from time to time but not terrible.
