Question by Esther: Why does eczema randomly appears? Has anyone heard of Herose? (so called treatment for eczema)?
OK. my eczema experience goes like this..
i was a toddler, i had eczema on my elbows. then it went off.
then i got it around my mouth when i was 12, that was due to stress.
then when i was 13, it disappeared and i was fine.
it came back when i was 14. turmoil year. i had eczema on my face, front of my neck, folds of my arms, the back of my legs. the areas where i sweat. at the start of the year, i was playing a lot of tennis, so i had white spots on my face, people told me they were sweat spots. then suddenly they appeared on my right hand. my baby finger web. one tiny patch of it. then it went off after a while. then suddenly it appeared on my index finger web. just one small patch of it. then it went off. then it appeared on the side of my middle finger. went off again. then came back on the other side. now, i have it real bad. on my index finger web, whole middle finger, and a bit on my baby finger web. how does it randomly just come back?
and it’s only on my RIGHT HAND. my left hand is perfect. and it’s not on the back of my hand either. just on the webs.
i stopped all steroid usage because i started a homeopathy treatment called herose. has anyone heard of it?
to me it sounds like my eczema is a mix of child eczema and some other weird kind.
does anyone have symptoms kinda like mine?
one other thing i noticed. stress is a big factor of it. when i was in bali, my skin was perfect. it just disappeared. smooth. no scars.
plus, it’s soo hard not to scratch. i tried emu cream. which only made me itch worse.
and for some reason when i put lotion on the affected areas (excluding face) it makes me itch worse,

Answer by curator Eczema (atopic dermatitis) is an inborn tendency to have easily irritated skin. It is associated with your immune system which is why stress often makes it worse. Sun can suppress the immune system and often makes it better (Bali). Hands get the most abuse of daily life with all the washing and exposure to cleansers and things, so they have more trouble in adults than the skin folds. I have not heard os herose. I typically use a combination of topical steroids and moisturizers because that’s what works. Tars may help as well.

Question by Fragilistic Girl: What is the medical condition or a skin disease called Eczema?
It is a skin disease caused by an allergic reaction.
Best answer:
Answer by sebastian Eczema is a form of dermatitis, or inflammation of the upper layers of the skin.
The term “eczema” is broadly applied to a range of persistent or recurring skin rashes characterized by redness, skin edema, itching and dryness, with possible crusting, flaking, blistering, cracking, oozing, or bleeding. Areas of temporary skin discoloration sometimes characterize healed lesions, though scarring is rare.

I have been dealing with eczema for as long as I can remember. I have tried going to a dermatologist in the past but none of those topical creams worked and instead left my skin feeling weird so I stopped taking them. I really would like to go into modeling but these scars all over really discourage me. Does anyone know of a solution? Thank you!

Okay, so on Tuesday night, I was at a friend’s house and I noticed that my forehead felt kind of bumpy. So I look and I see little bumps on my forehead, sort of like hives. They weren’t red or anything; just the same color of my skin. This is normal, because I’m allergic to pets or furry things, so I get hives all the time. I took some Zyrtec when I got home, and I went to bed.
So the next morning, I woke up and the bumps were now ALL OVER MY FACE. My eyes and my lips excluded, my face and my left ear were covered in these bumps. The ones on my lower cheek and jaw bones were a reddish color, but the rest looked like raised skin.
I went to the doctor later that day, and they concluded that I had contact dermatitis. They prescribed a steroid cream that would heal my rash in 6-7 days. I put it on all the infected places twice yesterday.
However, when I woke up this morning, I found that it spread to my right ear, most of my neck, and some of my chest. As the day went on, I saw that I also had a few bumps around my elbow creases and two or three on my hands.
Now, I have concluded that there is no way that this is contact dermatitis. Contact dermatitis means coming in contact with something, but I didn’t rub my face all over a eucalyptus leaf or something, so I have no idea how it could be contact-related. Plus, if it spread, clearly it’s not a contact-related rash.
I have a few pictures that I took that you can see at the following link.
Two are of my left cheek, and the third is of my forehead.

I really don’t expect to get any results whatsoever, but I figured this was worth a shot.
Any and all help and answers are greatly appreciated!
