Stress which helps causes perspiration can bring on eczema.Eczema can be a red itchy patch of dry scaly skin that can have blisters.Eczema can be treated with topical cortcosteroids, check your diet you maybe allergic to some types of foods which also can aide in the outbreak of a rash.Cortcosteroids are anti-inflammatories;hormone drugs.I cannot find anything under the diagnose that you printed, but I think your having a reaction to a substance;take note to what you eat,and whatever you come in contact with as they can bring symptoms of a rash.Another words keep tract of everything to ease your condition.

Question by Cooks in ‘08: What causes and cures annular lesions/eczema?
These things suddenly appeared out of nowhere on my girl friends legs and started off small and have grown and spread. We sleep together and I have not caught any of this stuff from her. What is it? How did she get it? What causes it and how do you treat it? We are very clean people. The house is spotless.

From what I’ve read, you cannot “catch” eczema from someone. It is hereditary……and outbreaks can be brought on by stress and illness…or for no reason at all. A topical steroid creme can provide some relief and can help to clear up eczema spots. Mine come and go at will. I have had steroid injections directly into the spots on my legs but they did not help much. I find that just keeping them moisturized with a non-perfume lotion like cetyphyl (available at walmart and drugstores) and cortizone creme does about as much good as anything.

I’ve never had eczema before, but I’m sure that I have it on my elbows and a little under one arm. What are the allergens that cause it as an adult? What works to clear it up?
