You have two reasons for having the lighter spots: the first one is “post-inflammatory hypopigmentation”, which frequently occurs after an inflammatory event, such as a dermatitis. In this sort of situation, the pigment granules are still being made, but the dermatitis is inhibiting the transfer of the granules from the pigment cells to the epidermal skin cells, and hence, the cells are arriving at the surface of the skin with less than a normal load of pigment granules. This situation will revert to normal, some time after the dermatitis has cleared. In addition, you are using a steroid cream, which also leads to blanching of the skin from having the blood vessels under the dermatitis become constricted. This condition will also heal up, once the cortisone is stopped.

Yes. It takes up to 48 hours for the chicken to go thru your intestines. Then, the components of the chicken go into your blood. Until used up by the body. But, if you are allergic, your body had produced anti-bodies, which hang around and jump on, that is, cause inflammation, on every chicken associated molecule in your body/blood. The next time you eat chicken, the army of anti-bodies recognizes it instantly and goes to war, so you get more of reaction much faster. Does that make sense?
I would go to an allergist, immunologist, NOT a dermatologist. They think too topically. Don’t touch a chicken or an egg for a couple of weeks before the appointment.

Psoriasis are huge, big flakes that are usually in the hair. They look like mega size dandruff. As for eczema, it is a condition that affects the skin. Like, for example, I get that around my neck every summer. It is usually white and itchy. I have to use a cream every time, during the summer, to control the itching. Personally, I think it is like hives. That’s what i think.
