Can Someone Who Knows Dermatology Please Answer This?

I was a healthy person for the first twenty-one years of my life. But about two years ago, I broke out in rashes all over my body. My entire groin (not penis, just surrouning areas), armpits, neck, and elbow folds had uncontrollable rashes. Basically all my skin folds. It got worse, so I had to be hospitalized and injected with Benadryl. That didn’t work, so the doctor put me on Prednisone (which is a powerful steroid tablet). Ever since, for the past two years, I have had a recurring rash in my right armpit. Sometimes a rash will appear in my elbow folds, but it goes away. And sometimes, though rarely, I get a rash between my legs. This, too, goes away quickly. But my right armpit is always breaking out in a rash. Never my left, just my right. And it is somewhat debilitating, as it is painful and screws up my social life.
I have seen several dermatologists and had several biopsies. No one can agree with what is happening to me. The biopsies come back as inverse psoriasis or dermatitits. And spongyitis dermatitits. The “inverse psoriasis” biopsy was taken from my armpit, which is where the rash is most severe. The “dermatitis” biopsy was taken from my elbow fold.
One of the dermatologists refuses to accept that I have inverse psoriasis. He just shakes his head and says he doesn’t know. The other doctor finds it hard to believe, but he doesn’t fight the diagnosis. All they do is give me steroid cream.
However, there is a catch. I am a very bad alcoholic. Very bad alcoholic. And this all began not long after I began drinking hard liquor. I have even gone as far to contact a world famous psoriasis specialist who works out of UCLA. I emailed her everything that has gone wrong with me, and was honest with her about my drinking problem. She says that my drinking is causing the rashes. She says that the alcohol is absorbing something in one of my organs and my skin is reacting because of Zinc deficiency. I have not quit drinking, but if someone could maybe convince me that the drinking is causing all my problems then I might have the iniative to give it a try.
