Question by Lucy Zhao: Doctor gave me wrong diagnosis?
So i went to the doctor the other day. i have these clumps of really small bumps on my arm. the doctor went to go seek a second opinion. they said it was nummular eczema. i looked up pictures online. i couldnt find a single picture that looked like what i had on my skin. the doctor didnt even do a skin biopsy. she just felt it, and asked me where it was. only on my arms. what do you think i have or do you think the diagnosis is correct? the clumps are about the size of a quarter and smaller. there are a lot of tiny bumps. they feel grip tape on skate boards, just bigger bumps. they are skin color. the same color as my skin. one day i just noticed them and there has been more and more. on both arms. doctor gave me prescription but it isnt working. been about 2 weeks, and there are more since the visit. help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they dont itch. they just bother me, because my friends are starting to notice too!

Two days ago I went to the doctor because I had some discomfort in my vagina and I thought I felt a bump on my labia. I thought it might be a razor bump but fearing it could be Herpes I figured I’d get it looked at anyway. She checked me out and said everything looked okay just irritated and that I had something that looked like blisters in my vaginal wall but that she had poked and prodded at them and I hadn’t reacted so it couldn’t possibly be Herpes because I would have been screaming with pain. She asked if I had done anything new and I told her I had tried the KY Intrigue heat. She went on a rant on how those things should be outlawed and said I had Contact Dermatitis. She didn’t give me any medication only told me to put a cold cloth to sooth the area and if it got too bad to use diaper rash cream, which I did use and it did make me feel better. I asked her if I should get a blood test to be positve it’s not herpes but she said it wasn’t necessary that the bumps did not act in a hepatic manner. I thought everything was fine but last night I got a fever out of nowhere and when I woke up this morning I had several more bumps on my labia. They don’t hurt and they are not liquid filled, they are just hard little bumps and my pubic area feels tender. This is only my second time shaving this area so I don’t know how bad razor bumps can get but this feels wrong to me.

In May 2007 I was diagnosed with contact dermatitis and I was perscribed “Doxycycl” by my doctor. After taking the drug for two months I developed a severe allergy to it which resulted in having itchy red splotches on my chest. I stopped taking the drug, but I still suffer from a reddish brown rash on my face, which the drug never cleared up.
My skin is dry, yet it becomes oily overnight while I sleep. It is not thick, nor is it itchy. I have researched several dermatitis conditions on-line, yet what I have does not seem to match anything that I am reading. I have tried several at home treatments, tea tree oil, anti-fungal cream, etc. These have helped a little but not very much. I have tried to moisturize it, as I know that this is supposed to be an important step, but every lotion I use causes it to burn and become even more red.
Based on what I have read I do not even know if I really have dermatitis. Can anyone help?
