Put toothepaste on ur face, it helps, then you wont look like a nasty boiled beetroot on your wedding day. Failing that, wear a veil. And dont worry, it’s your wedding day, no matter how awful you look, everyone will tell you that you’re beautiful. Just remember this…. they’re probably lying.
Have a great day!

Question by Amanda S: Any pregnant women getting major eczema?
Oh my goodness! I am going crazy. I have had eczema my whole life and have been able to control it. I was just wondering if any other pregnant women have been getting it? If you have any secret ways of getting rid of it, let me know please! I have washed with dove soap, lotioned up and have not changed detergents. Its like I am allergic to my own sweat. I know thats kinda gross, but I swear, I only break out where I am sweating.

Yes, and it’s so incredibly annoying. I’ve literally clawed my arms scratching to bring comfort. I’m using Dove soap and a mild medicated lotion but here’s trick I learned and use put a little Crisco shortening on the area to stop the intense itching. It works and it’s soothing. I know I know It sounds weird, gross, and messy but it helps. Good luck and take care.

I have an eczema all over my arms and shoulders. It is especially prominent around my elbows. I want to know if there is anything I can put on it to make it better and if there’s anything I should avoid. Also, how can I tell if its healing or getting worse. Obviously if its spreading, its probably getting worse, but besides that? Right now I’ve just been taking Claritin to keep the itching down. Please help! Thanks.

My eczema cleared right up when I started using only all-natural products on it. Most skincare and cleaning products available at regular drug stores, etc., even ’sensitive skin’ products make me break right out. Try using only a pure, natural soap from the health food store like Dr. Bronners. If you have hard water, the liquid soap can be mixed with baking soda to make a thick paste. This will reduce the amount of soap residue that is formed. Rinsing with vinegar will remove whatever residue is formed. Using this method, plain, real soap can be used even for things like clothes and hair. Real soap can be used for everything from dishes to teeth. If you try doing this for a while, you can find out if your eczema is caused by a reaction to the products that you use. If it does not clear up, that is not the problem. If it does, if you still want to, you can try other products one at a time and see if they make the rash return. The most common irritant is fragrance. That is the biggest thing to avoid. Do not forget about the laundry. A lot of laundry detergents – especially scented ones – irritate the skin. Fabric softener is pretty toxic and vinegar works just as well. The smell dissipates by the time it is dry, leaving it just smelling clean and fresh.

I have eczema around my mouth with gold flakes, my doctor gave me flucloxacillin capsules, should i be getting loads of white flakes now? Because i’ve been taking these tablets for 3 days, and i dont have golden flakes anymore, i just have plenty of white flakes, does this mean its getting better?
(suffered from eczema around my mouth for 6 whole months now!)
