Eczema Treatment Care

Question by twinkle toes: what kind of bodysoap is good for hard water & eczema?
I have eczema so I don’t shower my entire body daily but I wash “important parts” daily. When I do though I get really itchty after I get out the shower. I use dove. It could be because it’s getting colder too because I don’t have this problem in the summer or warmer seasons. What body soap can I use so I don’t have to dread taking a shower?

I just took my son to the doctor for this he was told to use any brands of ivory soap it is the most mild. He was also told to use cortisone cream on his hands, The doctor said this is crazy but tanning beds the lights from artificial sun help your skin Also said you can take oatmeal baths or rock salt baths help as well. This is all I know for now took my son last week….

Two family members are suffering from adult acne and eczema in my house. The water has been tested and is hard-with calcium and magnesium. Wondering if the acne isn’t clearing up because of the hard water not completely cleaning the skin and pores. I am already on two prescription acne creams and it ’s not working.
