Do I Have Inverse Psoriasis Or Is It Alcoholism (zinc Deficiency)?

I have seen many, many dermatologists, and no one can figure out what is wrong with me. Whenever I sweat, I get a rash under my “right” armpit, never my left. NEVER my left, just my right armpit. Sometimes I get a rash in other skinfolds, but normally it is isolated in my right armpit.
It all began about two years ago. One day rashes started breaking out between my legs, and before I knew it, I was in the hospital getting serious antihistamine treatment–during this first out-break, my armpits were completely covered, my neck was covered, the folds of my knees were covered, and my elbow folds were covered in rashes. The Doctor put me on prednisone and it zapped it, but ever since I have been battling this rash under my right armpit. And it gets to hurting sometimes.
But this is the catch: I am a very, very bad drinker. I used to drink up to a fifth (of liquor) a day, and now I drink 12 to 18 beer a day. A famous psoriasis specialist, who I contacted via email, said that drinking is my problem–I am 23 years old and she believes drinking is my problem. But my local dermatologists have sent biopsies that have come back distorted: one will say psoriasis, another will say spongyitis dermatitis, and another will say dermatititis.
Can anyone tell me what I have? What to do in response to it? The psoriasis specialist who said it is my alcoholism said for me to quit drinking and take lots of Zinc supplements. Is this maybe the solution?

I Wake Up With Swollen Eyes (both Upper And Lower Lids) And Have Puss Coming Out In Large Amounts (both Eyes)?

I normally wear contact lenses, have atopic dermatitis, am allergic to smoke, and only wear special mascara for sensitive skin. First time I had this, I was told that my eyes started rejecting contact lenses so I’ve changed the type. A&E gave me erithromicin to treat possible infection, which I developed allergy for and refused to treat me further since the swell was gone. All four lids get swollen like a baloon and I can’t move them and hardly see anything as well. White inner part also gets swollen on both eyes so I can’t really move the eyes either. And it hurts like hell. Before that the puss is coming out in massive amounts both from upper and lower lids. It normally happens after the night out. I thought it was contact lenses; however, last night I was wearing glasses, so now I start thinking that it’s the reaction to smoke. I had this 2 or 3 times with the old lens type and everything was good since I got new ones (about 2 months ago).

Should I Go To The Dr If I Think I Have Dermatitis?

My skin has been breaking out from contact with my jewelery. I’m not sure if I should go to the Dr, or just continue with cortizone cream. Is there anything different the Dr can do?? I don’t want to waste my money!

Do I Have An Std Or Infection?

ok this is really embarrassing…but here it goes.
I had sex with my g/f 2 weeks ago…and like 2 days afterwards……i got this weird rash….and my left testicle and the gland about it got really swollen, and my penis and lesticle is more “vascular” than normal…
So, i go to the doctor and he says i just have “contact dermatitis” probably from using that new sperimicide and the swelling is probably from an infection of some sort…..he said things should get better in about 3 days after some prednisode and antibiotics
The rash got a little better, but that it.
Any ideas?

I Have Very Wierd Hives, Can You Give Me Advice?

I’d had hives for about a month and didn’t know what from, so I made an appointment with my allergist, and he checked my blood. After a few weeks, he told me that I don’t have any allergies, but I have something called Contact Dermatitis. He said that it very rearly last for longer than a year. I’ve so far had them for half-a-year, and they are driving me insane! HELP! What should I do to help it or make it go away? They aren’t out all of the time, only when I scratch or irratate my skin. THEY ITCH!

Meladerm…i Have Used It..i Am Indian…with Olive Skin…had A Few Blemishes And Tried Meladerm..?

But I developed a very bad contact dermatitis…i have tried proactive as well which is really good..for my blemishes..but i was hopin meladerm worked for me….but its workin on my mom..her overall skin has become better ..but she has age spots on her face which are still very stubborn…lets see..she started in 2 months back..will keep u posted…as for me…i am off everthing now…proactives moisturiser has glycolic acid which also is targeted at reducing blemishes..butit only works as long as we use it…

What Do I Have (std, Yeast Infection, Etc?) (guessing Game, 2 Weeks)?

This is more of a guessing game, cause whoevers right, in 2 weeks i get my results, gets the cake.
This may have something to do with sexual activity with a female 3 weeks ago. I didnt wear a rubber and we only went for a few minutes with no ejaculation on my part (im a guy)…..
A week later my symptoms are a burning sensation while peeing, and itching down the INTERNAL shaft… no discoloration, or any discharge. I drink plenty of water every day. I also think this could be a sort of yeast infection or STD.
i’ve also had random yeast infections on my skin… doctor called contact dermatitis i think, dry rashy scaly spots on my skin in 3 places and also 1 on my genitals that hasn’t went away yet. this is not an std…. i’m thinking maybe it could also have an effect
oh and my doctor gave me a vaginal yeast infection pill(2) to take for it…its not ONLY for vaginas i guess cause i’m obviously a dude but maybe this could be a side effect?
I’m not sure when this itchiness started really…
and when i pee it doesnt even burn it moreso feels good cause its itching the itch…
i’ve also drank a bit recently and i havent drank for a while and i’m on the meds xanax.

I went to the doc and she said she wasn’t sure but she thought it was between contact dermatitis or Fungus , but she didn’t take a skin sample. Now i had bought a guinea pig that had ringworm and is under treatment, But this started three weeks after she was gone. (she was only around one day.)
It started out as three little bumps like a bug bit me, and lasted for a week like that, then formed a round bumpy rash. It didn’t start looking like the pictures untill a week and a half ago. I’ve had it for a month. My mom doesn’t think it’s ringworm. I also wonder too, as i’ve itched it and then itched other parts of my body and it’s not spread, and no one else in my house has it. Also the anti-fungal stuff makes that spot itch even more, and burn. Not get better.
It’s driving me nuts! as i also have a bad bout of poison ivy. i’m going nuts with the itching.

I’m 18 And Have A Very Itchy Rash And It Bleeds Quite A Bit When I Accidentally Scratch It, What Is This?

I have always had very sensative skin, my contact dermatitis comes and goes and usually goes away after i apply perscription hydrocortizone cream.However, lately, its gotten worse and hasnt gone away. it also bleeds a lot and when i scratch my skin bruises. my belly also hurts under my left ribs and i have missed a few periods but i am a virgin and could not be pregnant. Any ideas?

I Have Severe Eczma On The Face Helpp.?

have severe exzema on the face! I went to a dermatologist Im 15 ive suffered from eczma since I was about 4 I had it on the backs of the legs and the inside of my arms where the creases are. That went when I was about 9. But as soon as I reached 12-13 Ive had SEVERE eczema across my eyelids forehead and cheeks. Ive had this for about for about 4 years now and nothings helping the derma guy told me I have atopic eczema and that I possibly could be allergic to proxy resin? which is in plaster I think the glue in it, when I took an allergy test that way about a year ago he gave me a couple of steroid creams but nothing seems to work please please help. I have my prom in may and I want nice skin that I can actually put make-up on. Its stopping me from going out anywhere. plsplsplsplsplsplspsls help =]
