My son is three months old and about a month ago I started feeding him formula while I was at school and breast feed him when I am home. About two weeks ago he came up with a pretty bad case of eczema, could this be showing up now because he is not getting as many antibodies from my breast milk as he was before or is this just coincidence?

Skin conditions such as eczema, are largely genetic. They also are commonly connected to respiratory issues so keep an eye on that. I breastfed boy my kids exclusively and my youngest still has asthma and had mild eczema for the first couple of years.

Doctor said it was contact dermatitis and prescribed some ointments and tablets. But still no relief. What could this be? any remedies? Will I get itching if I’m having diabetes?
