Eczema is caused from losing moisture from the skin. It can be prevented by taking cooler showers or baths and putting a lotion on right after you get out of the shower.

Eczema is more common in people who have allergies. You might be at a higher risk than others to have an allergy. Try testing a piece of the dye on a small piece of hair first, somewhere where no one would notice. If you don’t have a reaction, then try using the rest of the dye.

What lotions could I use to relieve the irritation and reduce the occurrence on eczema? I only get it in a few small places a lot during the summer with the heat and just keep scratching. I currently do not have health insurance so I don’t want to go spend a fortune to get a prescribed lotion. Any tips on good lotion from the drug store or what ingredients to look for in lotions that are helpful?

My skin has been breaking out with itchy bumps.I have been to the doctor and everything is fine. He said it could be contact dermatitis or a food allergy. I have birds and they have mites, I literally feel them walking on me, What are the possible solutions?

6 days ago my back began to get itchy when I entered humidity or an area that is warmer. 3 days ago i began to see this irritation on my fingers, yesterday it seemed like it had calmed down, this morning I woke up and it was more inflamed then ever, it has also spread up my arm, and is on my toes. not as severe as my hand but i fear it could get that bad. I showed my doctor although she said that it might be contact dermatitis though was not too sure. any help would be greatly appreciated.
