Question by janie: I think I have eczema…very itchy, raisied rashy looking thing on leg..now other leg is starting to get?
Could this be an allergy to dust? Also this Eczema if that is what it is..can dust or mold (the storage shed next to me has a huge mold problem we recently found out and I am allergic to mold, I believe..doctor said I had allergic rhetinitis and discovered mold under carpet and house flooded once due to water heater breaking and they did nothing with carpet. For 10 years I suffered not knowing why. moved no symptoms now this…if eczema something that will go away? Natural treatments? caused by dust or molds?

Go to health food store & buy something called Essential Fatty Acids. It is also known as Omega 3 and as Fish Oil. This is a natural remedy for eczema, as well as improving memory, being good for the skin, & helping your heart.

Question by Ari: Unbearable Itchy Eczema on my Hand WONT GO AWAY!?
I’ve had eczema on my hands (mainly my right hand) for a good 6 years now and it just does NOT go away. I’ll start taking a new medication and after a month or so the bumps and swelling and unbearable itch return. I have switched from medicine to medicine to try and keep it away but it just keeps comming back!!! The doctor says there is no cure for it and i just have to keep switching meds. Any advice on how to help the itch without medication? Any natural remedies? I’m willing to try ANYTHING
The doctor did diagnose it as eczema. I have tried every over the counter cream imaginable including cortizone cream and lotions. It tends to flaire up extremely when I am stressed, but no reaction to any particular food. I try to use handsoap that is “soap free” or “Wet Ones” antibac wipes instead and that helps with no additional irritation. I have also tried a few pills but they all tend to make me extremely sleepy so i stopped taking them.

It is hard to locate, but you might like to try Goat’s milk soap. My friend has had sever eczema for most of her life, and this is the only thing that gave her relief.

Question by Imani A: Natural treatments for really dry and itchy scalps?
My hair is so itchy and dry, literally, all the time; once my aunt burnt my scalp with a perm, that stuff has serious chemicals in it. Now, I have scabs in my scalp 24/7, plus it’s dry and really itchy all the time. I think that the perm is part of the reason my scalp is dry. My hair eats up grease and things like that, fast! I’m african american (just incase that information is needed) and I have eczema. I need a natural treatment for my scalp, it’s really irritating. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

I get the same thing and actually found that Hydro-cortisone works better. But that may be just for me, because I’m some sort of genetic freak.
