Question by Ben Scott: Eczema on back of legs and scratching?
Recently, the back of my knees has been flaring up with eczema and is so itchy, that I can’t help but scratch it, and I keep scratching till it feels better, afterwards, it burns and it feels that my skin is rougher and thicker than before, I can feel this most whilst walking. What could happen if I continue to scratch?

if youu continue to scratch, it will continue to get worse to he point where it looks lyke youu have hives. yer skin will start looking lyke it’s “bubbling” and it’ll be red and sore and possibly burn..my advice is to stop scratching it. or go to yer doctor and ask for something to put on it. something lyke fluticasone propionate. or over the counter things such as a caladryl or benadryl cream. good luck. :]

its so embarassing. i have two eczemas and i gained and lost weight which gave me stretch marks. i cant even wear shorts because im so embarrassed by them. i want them to go away!

i have strech marks and i rocked a tankiny at the beach this summer! i shoed up w/ confidence and thats what really counts, and turns out there are lots of people who have the same prob..if we all ust admit it and say- so waht ..nobody would b embaresd in the 1st place! so theres not much u can do…time heals skin…. get lotion from aveno , they have great natural and healing products!

will it cause your skin to become even worse?

i want to hide my scars because i tend to itch my legs too much and then i get scars..i tried coco butter lotion but its only helped minimal. Im thinkin about tryin jergens natural glow lotion? ive also tried tanin but i didnt achive what i wanted. any help to minimize the itchin or cover them well be nice.thanks.

or make them go away. Please if anyone has any clue. I would love to hear it. I have pics but not able to post.
they are not chiggers either. I have no idea what it is, but all the remedies for those have not worked.
