Question by janie: I think I have eczema…very itchy, raisied rashy looking thing on leg..now other leg is starting to get?
Could this be an allergy to dust? They remodeled house and when returned thick dust on EVERYTHING..since I had 45 boxes of stuff to put back, I temporarily just feather dusted it..started couching all night..then got tightness of chest, shortness of breath, and wheezing. Also this Eczema if that is what it is..can dust or mold (the storage shed next to me has a huge mold problem we recently found out and I am allergic to mold, I believe..doctor said I had allergic rhetinitis and discovered mold under carpet and house flooded once due to water heater breaking and they did nothing with carpet. For 10 years I suffered not knowing why. moved no symptoms now this…if eczema something that will go away? Natural treatments? caused by dust or molds?

Go to health food store & buy something called Essential Fatty Acids. It is also known as Omega 3 and as Fish Oil. This is a natural remedy for eczema, as well as improving memory, being good for the skin, & helping your heart.

Question by MarineMom: My 14 y/o gets a brown/dirt looking ‘rash’ on her neck from time to time. I’ve been told it’s Eczema?
However, everything I research Eczema is a red/bumpy rash. I’ve tried creams even alcohol wipes to try and remove it. Nothing seems to work. It comes and goes, but lasts for weeks. Does anyone have any idea what this might be??? Thank you.

I’m 14 too and had eczema. I’d decribe it as simillar to what you’ve decribed. Not all eczema has to be red and bumby, that usually decribes what it looks like when it is immflamed after scratching it. For me my eczema comes and goes too. Usually it is brought on by colder, less humid weather and stress. Recently I had been living in australia where it went away, but when i came back to New Zealand it came back again.

Question by ΨΘΨ: Im looking to get 2 Parakeets but my little brother has eczema?
I REALLY REALLY REALLY have been looking forward to be getting two parakeets.
However, my little brother has exzema and im guessing this is a problem.
Would it be ok if I were to put the birds in my room and never let them out of my room?
Is there any chance that I could get the birds without my little brother having eczima rashes?
Someone please tell me whats what, because I have no idea.

Thank You.

Atopic eczema od atopic dermatitis is allergic in origin and your skin may be of same sensitive level as your brother. Some times allergic dermatitis or atopic eczema which is very common skin disorder is mistaken from other disease, to know about this please see http://dr-healthguide.blogspot.com/2008/12/atopic-eczema-disease-overview.html
