Question by rizzy: i have eczema, i get a rash on my lower stomach, how do i get rid of it?
i already have the special creams and it worked at first but now its comming back again, it only happens in the winter and i use lotion frequently but its not going away? any tips or cures to get rid of it?

Eczema currently has no cure, so you’ll have to try the creams again and they’ll probably take care of it this time. Are they prescription? If not, you might want to see your doctor and get a stronger dose.
Your eczema might have flared up if you are using lotions with perfumes or dyes. You might want to try something that’s hypoallergenic, like Aveeno or Cetaphil.
When none of that works for me and I’m fed up with it, I use this stuff called Tend Skin, which is basically alcohol and aspirin mixed up together and I apply it to the rash with cotton balls. It burns like hell, but it cleans the area and removes anything that might be causing a flare up. Also, you can try to take some Benadryl since eczema rashes can be a reaction to an allergen.

I have a rash on one leg that isn’t red but it is itchy. It covers my entire lower leg under the knee. I think it might be contact dermatitis but I know it’s definitely not from a poisonous plant. Any idea what could cause a localized rash that looks like goose-bumps?
Any skin care products I used were also exposed to the rest of my body, so I don’t think it’s that since it’s a localized rash.
Also, I haven’t been around any pets recently.

I normally wear contact lenses, have atopic dermatitis, am allergic to smoke, and only wear special mascara for sensitive skin. First time I had this, I was told that my eyes started rejecting contact lenses so I’ve changed the type. A&E gave me erithromicin to treat possible infection, which I developed allergy for and refused to treat me further since the swell was gone. All four lids get swollen like a baloon and I can’t move them and hardly see anything as well. White inner part also gets swollen on both eyes so I can’t really move the eyes either. And it hurts like hell. Before that the puss is coming out in massive amounts both from upper and lower lids. It normally happens after the night out. I thought it was contact lenses; however, last night I was wearing glasses, so now I start thinking that it’s the reaction to smoke. I had this 2 or 3 times with the old lens type and everything was good since I got new ones (about 2 months ago).

I developed a small rash on the lower wings of my labia minora. It just itches (no discharge, pain, or sensitivity. Nor are there any blisters or sores). It started during my last period (which ended a couple of days ago). I usually wear tampons in addition to pads but this developed while I was wearing the pad. There were days where I couldn’t change the pad for quite some time so I thought maybe the pad may have irritated the area (what with the rubbing back and forth over the area that has the rash). I don’t want to go to the hospital if I don’t need to. I looked it up and the symptoms I have match something called Contact Dermatitis, and it was said that this was just a very minor rash that just itches, and that it would go away on its own. It didn’t say how to treat it though so I am at a loss here.
