Question by Michael: what if the military thinks i had eczema before i joined and i didn’t tell them about it?
It seems as someone from the medical staff put down on my records that I have been to a dermatologist for my eczema prior to the military. Even if it was true, could I get into trouble for having eczema before the military and not telling them about it? It kind of bothers me so i really need to know because i don’t want to get into trouble for something that isn’t true.

Question by Thugz M: If I have eczema am I still eligible to enter the military?
I was curious to know because I have it now, but I didn’t have it when I first went to MEPS. Will the military kick me out when I go back to MEPS for shipping?

I was just diagnosed with this common skin disease today, ahhhhhhhhhh! I’ve been planning all my life to go Army OCS/ enlist after I finish my 4 year degree. Does anyone know if I will be disqualified?

This is something you will most likely have to visit a recruiter about. My opinion, no it should not limit you from military service. In todays age, in this situation we are in dire need of people willing to serve for their country and I have worked with people in the Army who have had different things such as psoriasis that they accept because we need the numbers. You best bet is to get in contact with someone at your local recruiting officer and talk to them.
