Well, after 4 years I would say it is safe to stop wasting your money on the homeopathic remedies. Sometimes eczema is caused by bacteria on the skin’s surface. Try soaking your hand in a bowl of water with a tablespoon of bleach in it for a few minutes every night for a few nights. This will kill off most of the bacteria on your hand and may help if bacteria is indeed the cause. Helped my wife.

The soap I am using now has dried out my skin. The dry skin then turns to eczema. So if anyone also has eczema and knows of any good body washes that would help I would really appreciate it. I am female so if it has a nice fragrance that would be nice too. Thanks!

I have been under the care of the dermatologist for 2 years and still i suffer really bad. I have been on the strongest drug to reduce the immune system, but i am still bad. If I put loads of moisturiser on it just layers up and makes me itch. The best one so far had been diprobase, but i still come home from work and then itch and scratch like crazy. I want to lead a normal life again. Any Ideas?

I am 22, a female, living in Europe. I have had eczema when I was a baby, it went away after 5 years. About two years ago I was sick and had treatment which I believe has triggered the eczema again. It’s been two years now that the treatment is over but I still have eczema. I tried moving accommodation, changing work place. I avoid eating nuts, sweets, sweet drinks, and anything spicy. It is true that I drink alcohol sometimes but it is only beer and I smoke (but my doctor said that it does not have such a major effect on eczema). I try not to stress, and use minimum medications such as steroids or corticoid creams.
Please help, I suffer most from eczema on my face, physically and mentally. My face is all red and blotchy. My eyebrows are falling out even though I try not to scratch them. I am often depressed and do not know what else to try to alleviate the symptoms or cure eczema.
Thank you very much in advance for your answer, A.
