Modest Middles Nursing Tank Tops presents another video in the Minutes for Moms Series. This video features a momterpeneur who has developed an all natural Herbal Salve. Holly White of Blissful Babies tells Karen Maschue a Phoenix midwife with St. Raymond’s homebirthing that “nature has provided mothers with the best ingredients for soothing every skin irritation that a baby encounters. Time tested and sensitivity approved, Blissful Babies Herbal Salve combines century old knowledge into a modern salve.” Herbal salves are gentle enough to use on newborns, yet powerful enough to soothe even an adult’s chaffing. The herbs used in Blissful Babies salve have been proven to heal even the most uncomfortable of conditions for both babies and parents. Because it is 100% edible, you need not worry when using it with a breastfeeding baby or young toddler who puts everything in his/her mouth (www.modestmiddles.com, www.straymondshomebirthing.com, www.blissfulbabies.com)

Answer by Forever & a day… Due March 12 I have never had eczema in my life but since being pregnant I seem to be developing small patches all over my body. I don’t know how to prevent it but I am using cream to help reduce it. I totally understand your pain.
Good luck xx

I am now 1 day late for my period. We TTC for our first time this month. For the past week and a half I’ve gotten a bad flare up of eczema (worse than it has EVER been in my life). Has this happen with anyone else who has been pregnant?

Answer by Liz H is due on 5/2/10!!!! I’m a little over 3 months pregnant and I’m very itchy and dry. I don’t know that I would classify it as eczema at this point, but I definitely am needing lotion!
My chest area is covered in dry round patches while my stomach is covered in red bumps. My eczema always flares up during pregnancy and stress. Now I know the best cure is Petrolatum but I really don’t want to feel like a sticky, greasy, ball of goop. Is there something else that’ll work? My sister recommended Cetaphil while there’s rave reviews about Aquaphor. Which works best? Is there something else that works better?
