Question by thebaldprinter: how can i relieve my hand eczema?
Best answer:
Answer by missdivasmom Besides going and seeing your doctor an over the counter remedy that I use on my sons eczema is to put on cetaphil cream and over that put on neutrogena fragrance-free hand cream. The hand cream is kinda like a petroleum jelly so it holds in the moisture of the cetaphil. It works great

Question by elani: what else can my boyfriend do to relieve his eczema?
He refuses to use lotion because it “feels gross”
he has a precription cream to put on the itchy red spots that pop up but what else can he do besides wear lotion to prevent them from coming?
Best answer:
Answer by rachael j I hate eczema. I get it too.
If it’s really severe, he might have to go on steroids. I knew someone who did and the eczema faded.
Other than that, I’m afraid all you can really do is use lotion and bath soap (hamilton)

Question by Obsequious: What can be done to relieve eczema?
My baby has it, just diagnosed today. He has a prescription, but just wondering if there’s anything we can do to help ease the itching, or to make it flare up less. I know it’s worse in cold weather. The air is dry in the house from the heat but we use a vaporizor.
Thanks.

Answer by sweetasme81 My son and I have eczema. Mine are tiny spots but his come in severely large patches. Once the patches/ spots are there use the medication. When you have rid your child of this, start using soaps like “Pure Nature”, “Dove”, or “Caress”. Don’t get the ones that contain fragrance because it can irritate the skin.. Since I started using those soaps (which I switch up with every other bar), I have had no spots and he has had maybe one outbreak in 4 years. I hope this helps.
