Eczema Treatment Care

Question by Lisha: My 6 month old baby has Eczema, he scratches real bad. What can I do to stop or decrease the itches?
He has an appointment with the dermotologist two weeks from now cause that is the soonest they can get to him. He also use Elidel until he can meet with the doctor. Any other Suggestions?

My daughter had it as well she is now 3 and it has gone away almost completly. The doctors game me some kind of itch cream (dematop, i believe) and a water based gel for hydration aquaphor. It seemed to help.

Any other eucerin calming cream? He trie to scratch his lil face all the time. .
I jus wanted to know what other parents use before I go to the doctor and sit in waiting room for 2 hours.

I think it is eczema anyway is there any cure for this or is it a disease we are just going to have to live with?
