Unfortunately, eczema is really hard to get rid of. I have had it all my life, and when I use steroid cream on one part of my body that has it, it comes back in different spots. The best thing I have used is Flax Seed Oil.. You can find it in the health food section of your grocery store in a bottle, usually refrigerated. The oil is kind of gross, so if you don’t want to take that, they also sell pills pretty much everywhere that you can take. Just make sure the bottle is dark, because the light will deactivate some of the ingredients. Good luck! Oh, and its also really good for the rest of your skin, plus has omega 3 & omega 6.. so its all around very good for you!

Question by staceyN: Tiny red bumps, patchy red areas that itch behind ears and on face. Anyone know what it is?
Yesterday, I noticed the skin behind both ears felt strange and bumpy. I had someone look and they said it looked irritated – red with tiny little bumps. This morning it has spread to one side of my face and onto my neck, and it itches. These bumps are very tiny and pinkish red, causing me to look like I have hives sort of.

A friend thinks it just seems like contact dermatitis, but I’m not sure about that. I’ve had that on my hands before and it didn’t spread and was not like this. Should I go to the doctor, or will this go away on its own? Thanks.

If it’s Garnier fake tan spray , it;s probably it. Caused me an itching under my left eye, and dry patches.

Perhaps you are allergic to a hair dye. Or something. It sounds as if it is an allergic reaction to something. Maybe something you ate, like strawberries…? Summertime…

Eat lots of garlic and drink lots of green tea as it will protect you against everything. Unless you are allergic against that…

Best of luck.

I just noticed them yesterday. They’re tiny little dots on the top of my hand. First I noticed them on my right hand because it was itchy, then I noticed them on my left, on my feet, and also my chest/breast area too. They’re pretty itchy but I’m trying not to scratch them.

I started petsitting a dog on Monday and I also have two cats that have a very mild case of ringworm that I’ve been treating. They had it for about a month so I don’t think it’s ringworm that I have (I wash my hands and wear differently clothing when I pet sit the dog though so she wouldnt get it). It kind of looks like heat rash but I don’t know where I wouldve gotten the heat from since it’s been raining and i don’t where tight clothes or anything. Can it be flea allergy from the dog? I do pet, play, hold her and stuff, but I don’t know why I’d get them on my feet and chest area too.

Could it be that I’m allergic to dogs? I pet sit a different dog awhile back and I got contact dermatitis after the sit. It got pretty bad and I’m not sure if it was b/c I walked the dog through a trail where he couldve gotten posion ivy. There was another dog I pet sit but I didn’t get anything from her though.

Many help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I get these tiny red spots from time to time without rhyme or reason? If its contact dermatitis which the dr thought it might be then why do they come at strange times, like vacuuming, walking, after a shower, sitting outside one time I put on some black jeans started iching and sure enough i had tons of tiny little red spots.
there is no correlation to these events or anything I have been in contact with at all those times? They go away after I spray them with cortisone or benadryl
what could i be allergic to, or could dry skin cause it????????
