I’ve had Contact Dermatitis (a type of eczema) since October 2006. I was sleeping in a hotel and the next morning I woke up with the rash all over my hands and legs! It’s been like torture ever since :(
The beginning was the worst.. and has pretty much disappeared except for the scar/marks on my legs. Last night some showed up on the back of my neck too. I used some medicated lotion that my doctor gave me, but now when I itch my skin, it scratches off!
I read somewhere online that soy products could cause eczema. That makes sense because I started drinking soymilk instead of regular milk around the same time the rash appeared. Is soy a common cause of eczema?
I’m 18 if that helps!

i have just sold by pony, a 14.1 black welsh section D mare, 14 yrs old. she has gone somewhere with cattle, and there are allot of flys, but her owner phoned up the other day to say she was really itchy and that she had rubbed a big patch by where her girth goes, we went to see and it looked like the girth had rubbed to advised she got a girth protector for her, but now she has told us that she has lines on her back, about 1 inch long that stand out along her back and they have turned to blisters, she doesn’t no what it is and neither do we, she is putting a fly sheet on her every day to try and stop her itching, she has always been a itchy horse but never this bad. i was wondering if it was something to do with the cattle, we are going over tonight to look and see if we can see anything in the Field she is in other than the cattle that could be causing her to itch so much, she was itching on a trailer that was in the Field but that has been fenced off now. does anyone have any other ideas what it could be, we are wondering if it is lice, Irritant Contact Dermatitis,Seborrhea or something like that, is there any supplements we could recommend too? as she is really itchy
thanks

I recently had a major haircut. I had my chin length bob cut down to about an inch or two of hair to remove the relaxed hair since I wanted to grow my natural hair out again. I have done this before about a year ago with much longer hair with no issues. Scalp and hair were fine that time around.
This time, immediately as the clippers began going through my hair, my scalp began to feel irritated and itchy. But I attributed it to not being a hair cut regular. Now a week later my scalp is still irritated and itchy. Very sore and I can barely sleep because my hair is also so dry and brittle when I press my head to the pillow it hurts and itches more. I haven’t been scratching it for about 4 days and my head is still as sore as it was when I got it cut. I put in the same oil and leave in conditioners I used once before, and nothing is working. I also visited the RediClinic, where the nurse prescribed Nizerol and a steroid. She said she wasn’t sure if it was contact dermatitis or a fungal infection, but knew from examination it wasn’t lice. Haven’t tried the steroid yet, but no luck with the shampoo. When she examined my head she said it was very flaky. And although I have had a flaky scalp forever (without these current issues) I also tried T Gel and Selsom Blue “just in case”, no luck.
I don’t know what to do now. My natural hair has never been this dry before, and my scalp never, ever, ever felt so miserable. I just can’t fathom how a haircut could cause such damage or what I can do to feel better and get my hair a little less straw-like…
Maybe blunt clippers???
Thanks to anyone and everyone for their help.

This is more of a guessing game, cause whoevers right, in 2 weeks i get my results, gets the cake.
This may have something to do with sexual activity with a female 3 weeks ago. I didnt wear a rubber and we only went for a few minutes with no ejaculation on my part (im a guy)…..
A week later my symptoms are a burning sensation while peeing, and itching down the INTERNAL shaft… no discoloration, or any discharge. I drink plenty of water every day. I also think this could be a sort of yeast infection or STD.
i’ve also had random yeast infections on my skin… doctor called contact dermatitis i think, dry rashy scaly spots on my skin in 3 places and also 1 on my genitals that hasn’t went away yet. this is not an std…. i’m thinking maybe it could also have an effect
oh and my doctor gave me a vaginal yeast infection pill(2) to take for it…its not ONLY for vaginas i guess cause i’m obviously a dude but maybe this could be a side effect?
I’m not sure when this itchiness started really…
and when i pee it doesnt even burn it moreso feels good cause its itching the itch…
i’ve also drank a bit recently and i havent drank for a while and i’m on the meds xanax.
good luck guessin

I know it’s contact dermatitis because I’ve looked it up on the internet. I’ve never had eczema before and it’s only on the back of my neck so I’m pretty sure it’s coming from this new stuff I’ve started using in my hair. I’ve stopped using stuff in my hair but I want to get rid of the eczema. I’ve been broken out since Tuesday. At first it was really itchy and I just thought it was a bug bite on my neck but then it started spreading and now it’s all scaly and sore. What are some creams I can use to get rid of it? Also can I put halloween make up on top of it?
