You’re asking for a lot. I think the first thing is to get a correct diagnosis. Eczema (aka dermatitis) is related and usually less severe than psoriasis, but only a dermatologist can tell for sure. I have moderate to severe dermatitis (if untreated) have studied it pretty extensively in medical school libraries, and I wouldn’t hazard a guess.

Frankly, I wouldn’t rule out not being able to see a doctor. Check with your local human services office or the community outreach office of a hospital. I’m not telling you which therapy will work best for you. But it’s worth investigating your options. I tried many therapies (traditional, Chinese, alternative, etc.) until I found one that works. You’d better be prepared for a long hard struggle to wellness. Just make sure you’re heading up the right path, and if you don’t know what your options are, your chances of getting well are more limited.

I’ve had eczema since I was nine and it’s been getting worse lately. It covers my entire body from head to toe. I’ve been given pills and ointments, but they don’t help much. The eczema keeps coming back twice as bad each time I try something. It itches so much that I have trouble sleeping at night. What will make it go away for good? I can’t take the suffering any longer. I don’t trust those e-books.

Eczema is made worse by a couple of things. One is dry skin. The other is an allergic reaction to common household products or dermatitis.
When your skin is dry it opens up little breaks in your skin and lets allergens in and causes the eczema.
The first thing you need to do is to find products that won’t irritate your skin. Use hypoallergenic lotion or cream with no scent. – Eucerin cream is good.
Don’t wear perfume, and also be sure to wash your clothes in a detergent with no color or scent to it. Fabric softener, likewise, or don’t use it. Also rinse your clothes a second time to remove more of the detergent/fabric softener.
The other thing is to keep your skin well hydrated. Don’t let it dry out.
Also you might want to try either benadryl cream or calamine lotion to help with the itching.
You don’t say how old you are but has your doctor suggested a steroid like prednisone? If not, you might want to ask him about that. This is a short term drug you take internally to get rid of the eczema so hopefully you can keep it away.
Good luck and hth.

From my research and finding, I’ve discovered the most important aspect about healing: Healing should come from within. Your eczema is a sign of high acidity and toxicity of your inner body, DO YOU KNOW THAT?

My eczema is so bad that lotion doesn’t seem to do anything anymore and in result, the skin around the patches is soft as a baby’s butt and the eczema is red and dry and irritated. I got a prescription for it, but since my eczema is on my hands, I never feel safe putting it on because I use my hands to eat, etc.
